Poem # 3

Ticks on dogs

Poetry in motion

Tweezers pull turn

Get the head

Ticks on dogs

In our warm tent

After a full day of work creation

Is handed to my quiet pal lying on the floor with layla the mastiff

Dog in ecstasy legs up in the air phishing on her back

Hands pulling her hair back

Squishing ticks

Tools of the trade by his side,

Tape tweezer  towel

he asks

This ain't no poem is it

But both of us know

Ticks on dogs is fondly thought

Warmth after meal lazy comfort

Layin with layla

Mastiff and pal making poetry about ticks

So as you read poetry

Or live it around your life

And you hear your quiet part ask

About it ain't being a poem

Due to lack of rhyme structure tradition familiarity or understanding

But a tragedy

A sob story

Impossibility

Excuse

Or other loud breath

Know about ticks on dogs

That it is much better to be thought of on this page

As a poem thought

Than as the last moments autobiography

By the tick being tweezed
