Everything is a painting

No drawing, sketching

Pastel, pen, pencil all now painting tools

On a Fall cold rainy day

the pipes unfreeze

pumping soul up the hill

We listen to Morrison Hotel

looking at the Black Oak

and the blessed treasures all around

Because everything is a painting

And everything is painting

whether the paint is out or not

Liquid moving color

As a life is squeezed out the tube

Until it breaks open at the bottom

making you roll it hard

to get every drip drop out

And on

And on
