The Art of Catherine Oswald |

Fauve means 'wild beast' in French: It was a term of derision used to insult artists like Cézanne and Matisse for their wild use of color and the raw unfinished expression they presented. We enjoy terms of derision and insult as well as any and all rejections. Shows us we are on the right track. |

It’s me and I painted it. Sexual Self Expression is my thing; I have been painting and drawing self portraits for almost twenty years. I also work on a Postcard Journal of my life - pencil, ink, watercolor on postcards. Arguably I am the best bang for my buck as a nude model, muse, and inspiration. We are all born naked. I will paint and draw my body for the rest of my days.
